Seeds and shop restocks
Buy seeds when the shop replenishes its stock. The game description does not state a restock interval, so this guide does not assign a timer to that process. [1]
Planting on your plot
Equip a seed and click a brown plot inside your farm. Wait for the crop to finish growing, then harvest it. The developer describes selling the harvest as the way to collect your profit. [1]
Offline growth
Your garden keeps growing while you are offline. The official description does not give an offline growth limit or a crop-specific growth table. [1]
Single-use merchandise tokens
DLC tokens are unique and usable once. The official FAQ says sharing a redeemed code will not give another account a reward. These private tokens are separate from publicly announced promotional strings. [3]
Invalid or already-used DLC codes
For Invalid Code, the FAQ recommends uncovering all of the scratch-off area and checking characters that look alike. For Code Already Used, check whether the reward is already on your account or the token was used on a different account. [3]
Original game and sequel codes
The official Discord FAQ separates Grow a Garden (GAG 1) from Grow a Garden 2. Its three listed promotional strings — TEAMGREENBEAN, WATERYOPLANTS and REMEMBERTODRINKWATER — sit under GAG 2. They are excluded from this original-game code list. [4]
Ghoul Garden and Candy Corn
Update 1.72.0 introduced a separate Ghoul Garden for Halloween seeds. Sell its Halloween crops at Sinister Sales to earn Candy Corn, then use Scary Seeds, Frightening Fauna and Demonic Decor for event seeds, pets and cosmetics. Haunted Seed Pack plants are an exception: those seeds can grow in regular gardens. [5]
Black Cat seed packs
Give the Black Cat three requested Halloween fruits to finish a set and receive a Haunted Seed Pack. Completing 15 different sets awards an Exotic Haunted Seed Pack, after which the quests can repeat. The announcement describes a chance at rainbow packs; it does not give that probability. [5]
Witch’s Brew and eligible crops
Players contribute fruit to a shared cauldron for Candy Corn and other rewards, with extra rewards for the leading contributor. Update 1.72.2 allowed Halloween fruits grown in normal gardens and fruits carrying Halloween mutations. Update 1.74.1 added eligibility for the seven new Halloween plants. [5] [6] [9]
Trick or Treat House
Spend Candy Corn at the Halloween house for a random reward or a jumpscare. Repeated attempts cost progressively more. Update 1.73.0 says the price returns to 10 Candy Corn every eight hours. [7]
Halloween weather
Update 1.73.0 schedules either Bat Attack or Full Moon at the start of each hour, applying event mutations to fruits in the Ghoul Garden. The announcement does not specify which weather will occur next. [7]
Horseman’s Hunt
During the Finale activity, the Headless Horseman’s pumpkin head drops somewhere on the map every 30 minutes. Return it in time, follow the Horseman and collect the Wisps he drops before they disappear. Collecting 50 Horseman Wisps lets you choose one of three randomly offered rewards. [8]
Grave Digging
Grave Digging uses regenerating digs to uncover rewards such as seeds and gear. Digs regenerate both online and offline. Update 1.74.1 fixes a missing dig-timer display in new and private servers running v3348 or later. [8] [9]
Backpack sorting and fruit prices
Update 1.74.0 adds Backpack sorting categories. Examining a fruit with the magnifying glass also shows its sell price. The same update fixes sprinklers sometimes failing in the Ghoul Garden. [8]
Official Stock Watch
The developer links a separate Official Stock Watch server from the main Discord. Its announced coverage includes seeds, gear, eggs, weather, event shops and traveling merchants. Posts include a game version and restock information. The bot was reported restored on October 23 after an outage; use its current posts for stock rather than treating this guide as a live inventory.
